My mom was the world's greatest "worrier". She would worry about almost everything. I inherited that vibe from her, and I've spent a lifetime of trying to relax and trust. I came to a point when I wrote this song to realize everything is going to be OK. IT'S OK.
Nice work by Gorman Stanley adding organ, synthesizer, trumpets, and even an accordion to spice the song up.

IT'S OK
words & music by Larry L. Campbell c1997
Verse 1:
I used to worry about the rising sun, and i used to worry about the days to come, I used to wonder if I'd find my way, or would someday I fall down & there I'd stay.
Chorus:
But now I've learned to be right at home, resting in my Fathers arms, and His peace assures me everything will be ok, it's OK, everything's ok...
Verse 2:
I used to worry about my destiny, I used to worry about the things I could not see, I used to wonder if I'd win or lose, is my life up to fate or can I choose?
(Chorus)
Verse 3:
I used to work from dawn to setting sun, caught up in the rat race that I tried to run. And I used to wonder if I'd have great wealth, or would disaster strike me and take my health.
