A very close friend of the band passed away. We were asked to sing at his funeral. This song was for that occasion. Somehow, we managed to get through it. I wrote the song on guitar, but Christy took it to another level with the piano. It was one of those moments in the studio that took our breath. When Christy finished laying in the violin parts, we couldn't move or talk.

The song was written for Dr. Ron Smith who passed away...much too early in life. We later sang the song at my mom's funeral.
